At Aro Jewelers, we believe every piece deserves expert care, whether it's your grandmother's wedding band, a broken chain you haven’t worn in years, a custom engagement ring, or a permanent bracelet celebrating a special memory. Jewelry is a story. It marks a milestone, celebrates the people you love, and becomes something to pass down for generations.
About Your Jeweler
Hi, I'm Shelbi, founder of Aro Jewelers.
My passion for jewelry can be traced back to childhood. For as long as I can remember I have been in love with rocks, minerals, and gemstones. I’ve been on a jewelry path from the start. The reason? I love that gemstones are spontaneously made. You must have the correct temperature, pressure, and elements present to create a gemstone, and for them to be of gem quality is even more spontaneous and rare. One of my greatest passions is getting people excited about the jewelry they buy and the memories it will hold forever.
My journey in jewelry began more than a decade ago in luxury jewelry, where I discovered a passion for exceptional craftsmanship, gemstones, and helping people celebrate life's biggest moments. After earning my Graduate Gemologist degree from the world-renowned Gemological Institute of America (GIA), along with certifications in CAD/CAM, Jewelry Design, and Jewelry Repair. I continued my career specializing in custom commissions, certified appraisals, diamond and gemstone sourcing, and fine jewelry repair.
When I became a mom, I knew I wanted to build something that allowed me to be present for my family while continuing the work I love.
Today, Aro is built around my family, allowing me to provide intentional time as “just” mom, while allowing me to offer personalized service focusing on my client’s vision.
I believe jewelry should be worn, loved, repaired, celebrated, and eventually passed on. Whether you're restoring a family heirloom, redesigning a meaningful piece, evaluating/appraising your collection, or creating something entirely new, my goal is simple:
To become the jeweler, you trust for every chapter of your jewelry's story.
Our ready-to-wear collections are intentionally curated in limited quantities, while custom commissions are accepted throughout the year, allowing every piece to receive the time, craftsmanship, and attention it deserves. Aro’s goal is to be a go-to outlet for all your special occasions, a place you can come back to for every major milestone in your life.
Why ARO?
The name Aro is a nod to our family’s Native American heritage, where jewelry has long been a meaningful expression of craftsmanship, artistry, and storytelling. Like an arrow, we're always moving forward, preserving treasured stories while creating new ones.
